This is a big apartment in the heart of the city, right between Born, Arc de Triomf and Plaza Catalunya.

The apartment is on the 5th floor of a well maintained 1890 modernist building with an impressive entrance and a spacious elevator.

With over 200m2 living space it has 5 bed rooms, 1 big balcony facing south east (sun rise) and one balcony facing north west (sun set), 1 living and 1 dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.

The space

The big balcony facing south east has great views. The view includes Montjuic, Cathedral, Santa Mar Iglesia, W Hotel and Hotel Arts. We enjoy especially the sun rises and full moon views. The balcony faces a calm patio de manzana. Also we added 2 sun loungers to relax on sunny days which are plenty in Barcelona.

Another feature of this apartment are the hydraulic mosaic floors and high ceiling.

The heating is with radiators.

The living room is comfy and has a TV with a fire stick and bluetooth speaker and access to the south east facing balcony.

Next to the living room you have a big room with a dining table which we use also as our home office with a printer and comfortable desk chair. You will find here also our library with plenty of books.

On the other end of the apartment you have 4 bed rooms, 3 of them with double bed and 2 of them with access to a balcony.

In the middle part you got a big entrance, 1 toilet, 1 complete bath room, a fully equipped kitchen and 1 additional bed room.

Services and common areas

Apart of the described spaces we have 1 smaller room which we have closed to guard our personal belongings.

Other notable aspects

Rent includes weekly 3 hour cleaning and monthly 200€ utility allowance for internet, water, gas and electricity.

There is a split AC in the living room and in the master bed room. For the other rooms we have ventilators for the summer months.

Ginormous!

Ilker’s home is ginormous, the photos don’t do it justice. He was an excellent host and always responsive. The in unit washer was excellent, the balconies were lovely, and the neighborhood is very lovely. Several markets near by, and the subway is around the corner. I highly recommend it.
